Machina – Echoes of the City

Sound Recordist & Photographer – Syvian

Machina is a short film that explores memory, control, and the fragile space between intimacy and surveillance.

My role combined sound recording with on set photography, where I focused on capturing the film’s charged atmosphere, between moments of silence, gestures of desire, and the looming presence of authority. The resulting photographs go beyond documentation: they mirror the film’s tension and extend its narrative into still images, suspended between reality and fiction.
